If you compare the price of a standard motor oil change at an easy lube for roughly the same price you can treat your engine right and get Accel oil plus a premium oil filter for about the same cost. I have done a little research on comparison of oils and Accel is in the near top 5 competive commercial motor oils. I found that the break down and motor oil discoloration is said not to be a leading factor in oil break down, but I have noticed Accel motor oil to remain clear up until 5 thousand miles and at about that point does the oil begin to go dark but still remains transperant.
